Welcome to the Upcycler Life forum. Here are a few frequently asked questions to help get you started on our forum. We cannot wait for you to start asking questions and providing great feedback to our other upcyclers.
How do I sign up for the Upcycler Life forum?
- To sign up for the Upcycler Life forum you can either click the join for free button on the home page or click register in the navigation menu.
- Enter a username and your email and then click register.
- You will then recieve an email from us asking you to reset your password, click this link and create your password.
- That’s it! You are now logged in and can ask or reply to anything on the forum.
How can I create my own post on the forum?
Once you have created your account and are logged in you can now create your own forum post.
- To do this you must click forum on the navigation menu.
- Then select the catergory you want to post your question in.
- Next, select add topic, type in your title and question then press add topic.
- There you have it, your post it now online.
Why is my post awaiting moderation?
Your post will only require moderating if you have added a link to your post. We understand people want to show off their websites and online stores but we don’t want google to think we are just a business directory. We will approve most posts but if you see that we have edited your post it’s likely that we will just have removed the clickable link.
How do I reply to another post?
When you click on a post you would like to reply to, you just have to scroll down, fill your reply in the text editor and click ‘add reply’.
Can I add a photo to my profile?
Of course you can! This is how:
- Once you have logged in, click my profile.
- Click on account.
- Under the section, avatar, add either a url or upload an image.
- Select save changes.
- You will now see your avatar next to your username on your next post or reply.
Can I add a signature to come up on my messages?
Yes, you can and this is how:
- Once you have logged in, click my profile.
- Click on account.
- Under the section, signature, add some text.
- Select save changes.
- Your signature will now be displayed underneath your post or reply on the forum.
How do I change my password?
- Once you have logged in, click my profile.
- Click on account.
- Under the section password, input your old password followed by your new password also repeat new password.
- Select save change.
- Your password has now been changed.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, you must email us at info@upcyclerlife.co.uk telling us that you would like to have your account deleted.
We will then delete the account for you.
